The German-Tunisian project DIGITAL SHIFT responds to the challenges of digital transformation and its socio-cultural impact, featuring civil society engagement and democratic culture.

DIGITAL SHIFT is a series of public debates, workshops, participative artistic productions. They are experimental formats to generate new settings for public encounters that feature the use of digital media.

It makes ground for a long-term relationship between DIGITAL IMPACT LAB Bremen und INTERFERENCE Tunis based on exchange, experiments and experiences. Both organizations share the care for life-long learning in communities, transcultural approaches.

Gender-plurality, eco-awareness, sustainable development, decolonial concepts. As partners, they back each other to deal with the challenges of a non-commercial, value-based practice.

Both organizations are learning environments for contemporary citizenship, up-to-date media competence and innovative forms of societal interaction. Jointly they exchange, review; improve their practice to extend their range and impact of activities.
